RIVEN is a multi-disciplinary design studio creating furniture and objects with time honored craftsmanship and Eco-friendly finishes.
Founded in 2013 by designer Matthew Hastings, our studio practice is focused on creating bespoke furniture for private and to-the-trade clients, as well as offering product design development, eco-finishing, and interior design services for businesses.
Our intention is to bring more light and beauty into the world through design. This vision is guided by two beliefs: that the objects in our lives should be durable, both functionally as well as aesthetically; and the things we choose to surround ourselves with ought to be truly beautiful, bringing us joy with each use.
